Terms & Conditions

Prices listed are in U.S. dollars and are based on double occupancy. We endeavor to keep base costs as published. However, since our trips are often planned more than a year in advance, we reserve the right to change land costs due to extraordinary circumstances beyond our control.

For group trips, the base cost is typically based on 6 to 30 full-paying trip members. Other than that Guests can book a private tour on our website, or they can send us a request for a custom tour by email at contact@chkar.com.

The base cost typically includes: deluxe accommodations; most meals; baggage handling; ground transportation; sightseeing as outlined in the trip itinerary; entrance fees and permits; most gratuities, and the services of professional tour guides, who have expertise in English, Spanish, Chineses Speaking.

The base cost typically does not include: international airfare; passport, visa, excess baggage, and airport departure fees; some meals (to allow for individual choice of restaurants); alcoholic beverages, some gratuities (which are not compulsory), laundry, telephone calls, and other items of a personal nature; expenses resulting from delays beyond Chkar Lodging and Experiences control.

Itemisation of costs will not be provided. There is a standard payment schedule.

  • At the time of reservation, one should make a deposit of 50%.
  • 120 days prior to departure; 100% of the base cost.

If it becomes necessary for you to cancel your trip (or any portion thereof), you should notify us in writing, by e-mail (contact@chkar.com) or by call (+92 347 0570497) immediately.

Chkar Lodging and Experiences will assess a cancellation charge to cover loss of nonrefundable advance payments we have made on your behalf to ground operators and government agencies; communication expenses; and the loss of time that may permit resale of your space. The following cancellation charges will apply:

1) Chkar Lodging and Experiences will not grant partial refunds for any unused trip arrangements after the trip has begun or any refunds to trip members who do not complete any portion of the itinerary. Additionally, cancellation charges for safaris, cruises, air tickets, and custom trips may vary.

2) Chkar Lodging and Experiences reserves the right to cancel trips that are below the trip minimum (usually five persons). All trip members will be notified a minimum of 30 days before the trip departs and will receive a full refund. In the event of trip cancellation, Chkar Lodging and Experiences  is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by trip members (e.g., non refundable “advance purchase” air tickets, medical expenses, and passport and visa fees).

3) Standard Cancellation Charges for Group Trips: Nonrefundable

  • Cancellation charge: 20%.
  • 120-91 days prior to departure: 25% of base cost.
  • 90-46 days prior to departure: 50% of base cost.
  • 45 days or less to departure: No refund.
  • At or after trip departure: No refund.
  • During the trip : No Refund

4) Standard Cancellation Charges for Custom Trips: Non Refundable

  • Cancellation charge: 20%.
  • 120-91 days prior to departure: 25% of base cost.
  • 90-46 days prior to departure: 50% of base cost.
  • 45 days or less to departure: No refund.
  • At or after trip departure: No refund.
  • During the trip : No Refund

In all the tours, those who book within 30 to 45 days of departure would be entertained subject to the availability of team, hotels and air tickets. Additional cost would be imposed on the base cost. Client will make 100% payment once Chkar team finalized their itinerary.

We will make every effort (if you so desire) to match you with a same-sex roommate when we receive your application. If there is no one with whom you can share accommodations, you will be charged the single supplement fee. If a single room must be assigned to you due to a last-minute roommate cancellation or incompatibility, or for any other reason, the single supplement charge (or applicable pro-rated charges) will be assessed.

The quickest way to make a reservation is to call us at +92 347 0570497. We accept Bank Transfer, Money-gram and Paypal for the initial deposit. For custom trips, Chkar Lodging and Experiences do not charge an itinerary development fee. You can get in touch with us through our email address contact@chkar.com for a custom itinerary.  Early reservations are recommended, since group size is limited and some trips require extra preparation time.

When we receive your deposit, we will confirm your space and send you the booking confirmation. This will be followed by further details that includes a detailed trip itinerary; Invitation letter for visa process and optional Travel Protection Plan information; clothing and equipment recommendations; a suggested reading list; general information to visit Pakistan; and our full terms and conditions. Your air tickets, trip roster, and final trip briefing (with contact numbers and group meeting locations) will be sent out approximately three weeks prior to departure.

Chkar Lodging and Experiences has a full-service, in-house tour management,  air-ticketing department with decades of experience in arranging tours across Pakistan. Our customer support team will contact you as soon as you book your trip. Early reservations ensure the most desired airlines, hotels, and trip leaders.

A note of caution regarding discount consolidators and travel websites: First, you should not expect the same level of service from a discount company that you receive if you book your tour through Chkar Lodging and Experiences. Discount consolidators and tour companies sell a large volume of packages and typically do not offer professional travel planning consultation and upto the mark services during the tour. With Chkar Lodging and Experiences, you get what you pay for.
